Optional Extras
Enhance your electrical inspection by choosing any optional services below during booking. Select the extras useful for your property when completing your appointment.
Need your inspection documents sooner? Add Priority Document Processing to have your inspection documents prioritised for digital delivery ahead of our standard turnaround of up to 5 working days.
It’s a useful option if you’re working towards a tenancy, property management, compliance or other important deadline and would prefer your completed documentation as soon as possible.
You can add Priority Document Processing during the booking process.
Take care of appliance safety at the same time as your electrical inspection by adding Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
We’ll visually inspect and electrically safety test up to 50 domestic electrical appliances during the visit, saving you the inconvenience of arranging a separate PAT appointment.
It’s a particularly useful addition for landlords and managed properties where electrical appliances are provided for tenants.
You can add PAT during the booking process.
Add a Fire & CO Detector Safety Check to have installed smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors checked to confirm they are present and operating at the time of inspection.
Any issues identified during the check will be recorded, giving you an additional overview of these important safety devices while our contractor is already at the property.
You can add the Fire & CO Detector Safety Check during the booking process.
If your property has electrical sockets with built-in USB charging ports, add a USB Socket Check to have their operation checked during the visit.
We’ll check fitted USB socket outlets to confirm they are functioning and providing a suitable charging output at the time of inspection.
It’s a useful addition for properties with USB outlets already installed, particularly rental and managed properties.
You can add the USB Socket Check during the booking process.
Want a visual record of defects and relevant findings identified during the inspection? Add Photographic Evidence to receive the original photographs taken during the inspection of relevant electrical defects and findings.
This provides the photographs themselves for your records, giving you visual evidence of what was identified at the property.
Photographic Evidence does not include annotations, explanations or a written photographic report.
You can add Photographic Evidence during the booking process.
If you’d like a clearer, more detailed understanding of the observations recorded on your EICR, add a Photographic Evidence Report.
This is a separately prepared report supporting Section 7 – Observations and Recommendations for Actions to be Taken of your EICR.
The report provides relevant photographs together with annotations and clear explanations of the observations, helping landlords and property managers understand the defects identified and the areas requiring attention.
You can add a Photographic Evidence Report during the booking process.
Add a Thermal Imaging Survey for an additional assessment of accessible electrical equipment using thermal imaging technology.
The survey looks for abnormal heat patterns that may indicate areas requiring further investigation. Relevant thermal images and findings identified during the survey are recorded.
It’s a useful enhancement if you’d like additional information about the condition of accessible electrical equipment beyond the standard inspection.
You can add a Thermal Imaging Survey during the booking process.
Can’t be at the property to provide access? Add Local Key Collection & Return and we’ll collect the property keys from one address within a 1-mile radius of the property being inspected and return them after the appointment.
It’s a convenient option for landlords, letting agents and property managers who need to arrange access without attending the inspection themselves.
You can add Local Key Collection & Return during the booking process.
Does the property have more than one consumer unit? Add an Additional Consumer Unit so the additional unit can be included within the inspection and testing.
This option covers the inspection and testing of one additional consumer unit beyond the consumer unit already included within your selected EICR package.
If the property has more than one additional consumer unit, add the appropriate number when making your booking.
You can add Additional Consumer Units during the booking process.
Have a garage, workshop, garden building or another separate structure supplied with electricity from the property? Add an Outbuilding so it can be included within the scope of the inspection and testing.
This option covers one separate outbuilding or detached structure supplied from the property, such as a garage, workshop or garden building.
If more than one separate outbuilding needs to be included, add the appropriate number when making your booking.
You can add an Outbuilding during the booking process.
